Old Curtain

I snatched this up from a pile in one of my hold thrifty haunts in Pasadena. It was always packed to the gills, unorganized and chock full of treasure unimaginable! I found so many great, useful items in that tiny store. This bit of cloth floated around the fabric bins for some time. Eventually, I used it as a curtain for a french door.

After the move I tacked it up to cover one of the big blank walls in the bedroom. It is on my side of the bed, so I can gaze at it each morning. It soothes me, reminds of France and Marie A. Now that I look at it, it seems so silly to have a curtain hanging so close to a window...but not on the window. Hmm. Silly. But I like it.
